The government response to the petition is awful. "We're not going to ban FF ads but we are hoping to potentially introduce voluntary eco labels on product packaging". How is that going to help anything? It once again pushes the onus onto individuals when it needs a bigger gov strategy.

I bought a @newscientist.com magazine and read a greenwashing ad from equinor next to the editor page. Not going to buy another again.

There was a really annoying one in new scientist by equinor recently that got me to stop buying it.
