Trees.

Talking to everybody {house, neighbor+rabbits, gardener, garden}. Next time a storm comes they're going to drop some branches and everybody's going to get fucked up.

Also, in a week they're going to root through the water main and man that'll be expensive.

Had the ER vet blow us off insisting gaba was causing the issue (dose was below what we use for vet anxiety). Our normal vet humored us and gave rx for different anti-nausea and we saw step function improvement once it (C) was out of his system.

Expect to argue if you go this route.

Anyway, Cerenia is broadly safe and kind of magic--it probably saved our guy's life as he was 40h without food--but if you're seeing weird post-event behaviors it's worth considering as an option a vet might miss. Remains anecdotal but it's true to me now.

Cat (seems to be) on the mend.

if it helps it's been a weird six months to *return* to industry too

after spending 18 playing games and petting cats I'm still not quite sure if i don't want to just age out, find a new hobby, and call it a good run

if it becomes a case of more hands would enable some class of branch or additional complexity hmu and we can see if it's a fit for what I can do

this has real overlap with stuff that is extremely my jam but that i don't get to dabble in all that much

(also, cheers to a new issue!)

to be completely frank I still have a 20sqft hole in my ceiling after 10 months because "I'm going to drywall it myself" (I am! it's "easy"!)

I don't buy the LLM hype at all but there is almost no power in the world that will do as shitty a job managing my house as I do

I tried to skim the collective replies to your threads so sorry if this is a repeat but...

saw this topic again today and got to wondering if they're heading to an AI "agent" to sell as ~microinfluencers to shill products. Not growing the pie in a meaningful way but taking a diff slice so to speak.

thank you (re: checking tomorrow)
generic advice sometimes forgets constipation as an option bc it's "boring" as a cause so watch litter box for normal usage.

hmu if you want to tap my house's cat-anxiety brain; hope basil shakes this and is doing well soon ❤️

13 pt3. diverged enough from standard fare it felt super fresh.

Anyway. I suspect not for everybody but compelling union of narrative and mechanics. Should be no surprise this one also carries plenty of content warnings.

13 pt2. when they were silent it felt as if part of the character I played was missing from the game. The puzzle design leans into it as well and so even when I was stuck it felt appropriate given the MC's unreliable grasp of reality.

Story was dark & not wildly unique by any stretch but ...

13. Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice
Took a long time to get around to this one but shouldn't have.

Protag has psychosis and the way it's conveyed in-game is phenomenal. At some point I realized I had come to find familiarity/comfort in the voices (even the abusive/darker ones) such that ...
