You used to need me on the fence. Turns out all you have to do is ask me to take your group photo to allow someone to sneak into the dance behind me. 🤦♂️ I was hoodwinked!!! I guess they won't put me here next year.

There is an inherent problem with AI art. Evidently, I am Steven Segal and my portrait drawn by a student is Alf. Just don't do AI art, kids. Get art from real artists. They can make you into an x-wing pilot.

I often joke that we will become family with my students' parents. It occasionally turns true. It has been 5 years since her daughter graduated. We still keep in touch and support each other. Today she brought me lunch and news. There were tears and laughter. We shall always hold on to them.

I did a thing that I have not done in years. I ordered photo prints. I find they bring me joy. I need joy right now. Just a bunch of selfies with friends. All the smiles are real.

Hmm, I've known them all their lives. This was the first time they took me to the airport. I was up there for his HS graduation. Up next is her college graduation in the spring. All week I was reminded that I was born in the 1900s. Time flies and we get old. 👴 But the memories are still magic.

Spending the day with my found family niece. We enjoy each other's company and can spend time just silently enjoying each other's presence. I held her as a baby and now she is heading into her last year of college. 👴

I was let go twice because I didn't put winning over everything for some youth basketball teams. My current training had this nugget. Well I think I can do what I want next year if I coach the frosh team: develop players.

The last day with my lunch bunch. They were sad today and made sure to come in. They left excited today because of my grad duty. I will see them before and after the ceremony.
