SAME. At least Lay Zhang is still thriving in his solo career.

i went to the event bc of a meet and greet with Kojima but turns out that even though the event had announced it would be by order of arrival (200 spots), influencers and friends of the staff got a badge that allowed them to participate of the M&G filling up all spots before the event even opened

that being said, the sound mixing is embarrassing for a musical game. Idk if some of the newest patches fixed it. Also the Orpheus DLC was very disappointing and if you think the lyrics from the main game are bad, wait till you see the orpheus dlc.

But again, I will be the first to admit that my enjoyment of Stray Gods is highly because of the cast. I'm very VERY biased. Plus I got it and played it on the release date and have never played any other game like this (Role Playing Musical)

Gotta admit the first song is... not the best opening for the game lol
But I think the main fun of stray gods cannot be captured by watching a playthrough. Because some songs (like the Persephone one) can change so drastically based on a single choice. The fun is playing it and changing things idk

And I personally don't think Epic The Musical is a fair comparison to Stray Gods just because they are both Greek myth based. If anything Stray Gods is more like...Percy Jackson lol (Also I have my personal problems with Epic so I am also biased on that front)

I played Stray Gods multiple times and i love it. Some songs do have awkward lyrics depending on your choices but part of the fun is that you can alter the lyrics as the song goes based on what you chose. Though I gotta admit I'm biased because I'm a fan of most of the cast.
