I bring it to the counter along with my pulls for the week. "That's probably the best comic made for pride month ever" the owner says as he rings me up. I leave slightly defeated at the loss of $8 for the special.

What I'm getting from this is a parasocial story and how that affects the audience and the subject of the parasocialism. maybe that's a bit of a personal takeaway from this, but I've felt and seen in friends what I'm seeing in Cherry. Gotta read more into the comic though.

From like page 3 onward, there's so much tension. Really addicting read cause I was so worried for Cherry and Josie and even Gio. Def need to decipher it a bit further.

But making all these individual series written by different authors all work together as a set universe... Idk what to think of it, weird that DC and Marvel fell into that so early, and I'd like to know the reason for it.
