Took a little trip out to the southern part of the Oregon Coast. My favorite part of the coast, pretty much everything between Port Orford and Brookings is gorgeous.

My planned Road Trip route, going to see parts of Oregon I've never been to (Painted Hills, Steens Mountain, Alvord Desert). Also I haven't been camping in about 20 years so this should be an adventure.

Ceviche is ready. Absolutely not traditional - tuna and skrimps ("cooked" in lime juice), tomatoes, sweet onion, Serrano peppers, ginger, green onion and sesame seeds in a sesame-soy dressing

Salad: shaved fennel, radishes, mandarin oranges, aged parm, fennel fronds and pickled jicama with a lemon olive oil dressing.
Pasta: Beggar's Purse pasta stuffed with Prosciutto and Parmesan, tossed with crabmeat, olive oil, garlic, crushed chili pepper, italian parsley, and roasted red peppers.

Took a road trip up to my hometown today (Rainier, OR) - found some neat abandoned stuff off the backroads. Will need to get up there again soon.
An abandoned house, tractor, and truck near Rainier, Oregon. The truck has mostly been reclaimed by nature, the tractor and house are well on their way.

Took a quick day trip out to the coast, I love the blustery cloudy days.
