I truly don't get the point of making everyone ...like th a t . The weirdly sexual undertones, the juvenile yet pompous writing style and an utter lack of respect for this world , these characters and the setting is just...something else.

I thought it awfully mean spirited.My edition had the Baum book slapped at the end and it felt so cruel after that ending.Like the book was laughing at me for liking Fabala

Omg sameee haha. The story lines starting out as somewhat coherent and only getting weirder as time goes on is soooo signature.
