Honestly I'd like to use a different editor but it's the best combo I've found so far that can do code completion correctly for GDScript. If you're using C# you might have a lot more luck with other editors and I've also heard that the JetBrains editor works with GDScript but they went in on AI too

Yeah I'm in the same boat about Microsoft, so the code for VSCode is open source and VSCodium is the open source build version of it. I started using a while back because (relative to VSCode) they strip out all of the telemetry and disable/deactivate all of the Copilot gunk

What this looks like in practice for the editor:

I seem to remember needing to dig around for some specific config options on the "Exec Flags" settings to get it to work properly but that was a while ago. Screen shot of my config if needed
