This is the last one I'll explain, and I'll keep this one brief: I just think it's really cool. I'm not a big Gen 1 guy to begin with, but I welcome the obvious preferential treatment with open arms.
I also co-mained it in Smash 4, and to this day is my favorite heavy in all of Smash

If I was making my list purely based on design, Garch would be my number 1 pick, hands down. Pokkén was where I truly fell in love with it though, such a great showcase of that game's mechanics and I love its punkish asshole personality.

Honestly one of the most endearing Pokémon out there in my opinion. I don't think I've ever seen a legendary given this much character before. I don't really like using legendaries, but if I ever play AG formats, this is my go to.
Also, goated design. This is my kind of aesthetic.

This is the only Gen 8 mon that I can unambiguously say that I love, having not played SWSH. It proved itself to me very recently by being an MVP of my ZA team and saving Lumiose City :)

I'll forever be a defender of Pokémon like these. I think designing mons based on everyday objects is a super cool idea, and these are my favorite examples of it. On top of that, I think these two are so fun to use in comp. Especially Klinklang, a staple of my showdown teams

My favorite starter ever, and also my first. I'm forever loyal to the entire pig line, so any spot I have Tepig on in my list I'd also give to Emboar and Pignite too

Getting this out of the way, Gen 5 is my favorite dex and Eelektross is handedly my favorite Pokémon of all time. It's design is fantastic, lots of fond memories of it growing up, and in recent times I find it a really fun mon to use competitively
So happy to see it get a mega in ZA :)
