I'm not talking about 3rd party. Prior to the Democratic and Republican parties we had the party swap, before that Democrats vs Whigs, before that Federalists vs Democratic-Republicans.

I don't think electoralism of any sort will address the immediate threat.
But overall I agree, I think the realistic path is that candidates emerge like Mamdani and form a socialist flank of the current party. Over time they take the current party over. Much like the tea party movement.

LMAO... There is a limit to what they can do legally. There is not. They can pass whatever law they want and the SC will say it's constitutional.

Part of what has made Mamdani successful, is unlike the Democratic elite, he doesn't throw groups of people under the bus when it would be politically expedient.
