My upcoming 12"'s A-Side sounds just as dirty and lo-fi as I live-jammed and recorded it on cassette tape, but that's all moot, since I have to wait for a new round of test pressings from a different plant. Heartplay's 'Kill Your Idols' #nowplaying on the #vinylsky

There was no need to dig through the bargain bins at Woolworth for this, but I am happy another #Hipgnosis cover found it's way to me. It feels intriguing, however, how these #jazz #funk greats don't sound like jazz at all. #ThrobbingGristle #vinylsky

This scene in #AlienEarth ep7 gave me strong #DamienHirst vibes. The title of his famous shark sculpture also fits incredibly well here. #artsky #tvsky

According to plan, I plotted more flock tonight while finally heat-pressing the first batch of 12" covers for my upcoming record. Of course, they deformed a little so I bent and now squeezed them in between other records. Maybe that will help, but overall they should be fine. #vinylsky #DIY
Reading HEARTPLAY in psychedelic purple caps and evoking the idea of elongated mushroom stems the photo shows four of the white 12" covers with a little part of three of them visible through the punched out hole of the ones in front respectively and to the right, a row of more record spines with a wooden divider in between them.

Finally found the new #DIY @meansmagazine.bsky.social with this wonderful #photo printed inside in my post box today and I'm now looking forward to what else it might hold. Seems like it will be much fun, telling from a first skim. #zine #artsky

First #heatpress testprint with purple flock for my upcoming 12" looks fantastic! Here with Hawtin's Minus Orange release of '99 to see how the two tones go together irl. Need just a little more temperature and pressing time and we should be good. #DIY for the #vinylsky #artsky

Process of making my mind up about my next 12" #artwork and some first #sketches from a few days ago. Will make a decision on who I'll book for mastering & lacquer cut next week, then it's all trial and error about the front and back cover before finalizing print.
On the left of the photo open notes in a book with black on white copy sketches in all caps reading 'YOUR MUSI DOESN' turned on its head and 'MY CROOKED TEETH AR' and a selection of felt-tip pen right next to them. Below both, a bigger note book with colourful sketches of copy, again in caps, but reading 'TEXT' over what seems to be half of a ram's head, its face orange and red, but its horns grey and furnished with darker outlines, its other half outside the image. On the right page a variety of circles in orange, black and green, with lilac and orange copy in caps circling their upper half, spread all over the page and reading 'HEARTPLAY' with a little star by its side or shimmering waves above and below in light blue, light green and violet, all sketched over ball pen copy reading, yes, in caps, FND003, and other notes barely discernable.

Kind of rediscovering #Abba every few years and this being a fave tune of mine I am a little upset they made this tee designed by andreasdiefenbach.com which almost jumped at me at Tactile in #Frankfurt only in size M. #hybridpop #fashion

Been playing these two #WetLeg LPs all day. Just got them yesterday at Tactile and can't express how I feel for having missed the s/t when it was new. Both mastered, and 'moisturizer' also cut, by Matt Colton, again! Must have bet on the right wizard for my own records back in the tens. 💋 #vinylsky

Created this #type weeks ago for a lino or heatpress print on my third 12" self-release. Been ten years and only a few labels ever even responded to my demos. Used riso inserts for the first two, so I'm really looking forward to this one, the first to show my artist name on the cover. #DIY #vinylsky

Said it once and I say it again. These two are perfect examples of why your music should be made for the #vinylsky. It's #artwork and this one by Tobias Bernstrup and Eloise Leigh for @darkentries.bsky.social reduces that of my fave record of all time to its basics so well I just had to get it.
