Miles better than last year’s World’s End while also still being incredibly frustrating. Some great matches and performances but there was also so much bullshit accompanying it. Kenny being back has me over the moon though. The story of AEW really.

I can see why it wouldn’t but I think for the structure of the match, it couldn’t have been worked better. One round it’s a mat wrestling clinic and the next is Flair chasing Regal in a desperate attempt to even the score. Even with it being separated, it feels cohesive and coherent.

Oh my god dude that shit makes me wince. He literally spends the whole match running and pleading then does some sly shit to get ahead and then gets caught and starts running again even though he has nowhere to go. Morton is HIGH HIGH up there for best Flair opponents, perfect together.

Probably my favorite cage match ever. That fucker came in a helicopter and then proceeded to get punched out (Morton’s punches were a thing of beauty man).

Yeah absolutely. That was more of a statement to the modern day. I can only imagine the difficulty of getting your hands on the raved about footage back then. Now it’s literally a search away. The ability to familiarize yourself has never been easier and I wish more would take advantage of that.

They’re a spot apart on my list, I just have a hard time deciding who’s in the spot ahead. Mark’s case features more volume but in terms of pure singles work, I just don’t know if Mark has a match better than that Joe cage match. It’s a weird one, and I go back and forth all the time.

She’s going to make it. She’s one of the best promos down there and the in-ring improvement is showing. That wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest.

They can’t not run Punk/Sami/Jey vs. Seth/KO/Drew on one of the road to Mania RAWs in Europe now, they just can’t pass that up. It’s crazy how good Punk is and how much he adds and how ok some were with losing that.

It felt very akin to the Punk/Drew/Seth segment in Chicago. Big stars just going out there and selling you on them not liking each other and not liking their motives/actions. You leave wanting to see all them fight each other at some point.
