I'm trying not to be too upset about nikki giovanni. She lived a huge and impactful life, and she changed the game for all of us. 81 years is a blessing. I wish I'd gotten to meet her when we were both at Virginia Tech. I'm glad she existed at all. Goodnight Nikki Giovanni. Thank you for everything.

I can’t wrap my mind around paying over $300 for a concert ticket when I’ve never had to pay over that amount to see Beyoncé. And I’ve had AMAZING seats every time! With Kendrick, I really only want to see him, so I’d have to sit through Sza’s part. 😒 That’s not worth it to me.

Today was the first time in literally 14 years that I took a semi break from cooking for Thanksgiving. I did make the ham and the rice and beans. I also seasoned the turkeys. But that was it. My mama kept her word for the most part and I’m proud of her. 😩🙌🏾
