Sometimes God doesn’t part the sea. Sometimes He just sits with you. In the verse you’ve read a hundred times, but today it hits different. If your week hasn’t felt holy, if you haven’t journaled, prayed deeply; or read four chapters of the Bible, you’re not failing. You’re still being held.

We pick up lies along the way, from culture, childhood, church, and even ourselves.
Some of them sound holy.
Some of them even feel true.
But they are not from God.
These are just a few of the heavy burdens He never asked us to carry.
Let’s lay them down and pick up truth instead.

When the waters rise up, He stays.
When the fire rages, He covers.
When it all feels like too much, He walks beside you.
Isaiah 43:2 doesn’t promise that hard things won’t come… it promises that you won’t face them alone.

Jesus showed us that love and compassion have no limits. His life was a constant invitation for everyone to come as they are and be embraced fully.

Faith calls us to care for the most vulnerable among us. When assistance programs are impacted, it’s often those already struggling who bear the greatest burden. As Christians, we are called to stand in the gap—to be advocates for justice and compassionate caretakers of our neighbors.

“Love one another. As I have loved you.” — John 13:34-35

Jesus’s love was limitless, reaching out to everyone—no matter their past. We’re called to love like this: with grace, compassion, and radical inclusivity. Let’s be known by our love, not just our words.
