Today, she approached me after the service to request that I speak more softly in the discussion groups, as my voice can be distracting to others in the sanctuary.
I am not a petulant child in need of discipline.
I am a capable adult who deserves respect.

A high schooler was aghast that I just celebrated turning 39 a couple weeks ago. “You can’t be more than 29!”

Either way, my time there is coming to an end and I finally get to focus on developing my art career.

So on Friday I sent a resignation email for the end of the month.
Oddly enough my boss still has not responded, but I heard through a client that they heard from someone else that I’m finished at the end of the week??
