Prices were refreshingly affordable (yes to cheap eats and budget-friendly hotels), and honestly, the kindness and professionalism of everyone I met stood out the most. From waiters to museum staff, people were warm and helpful without being overbearing.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from Athens, but going in early March turned out to be such a good take. The weather was just right, sunny but not scorching..best time for wandering through ruins, markets, and cute little neighborhoods without feeling rushed or sweaty.
