Go down 10 layers and then you'll have something like
cl.L -> walk back 2m ex confirm
cl.L -> shimmy, cl.H frame trap
cl.L -> wait overhead / low crush to beat safe mashers.

Age old advice of looking at your replays helps a lot too! Practice your own strings against yourself

But generally sitting down, having a think and adding more options into your repotoire is really good. Flowcharts are only a problem if you're predictable!
You can do
cl.L -> cl.L to check mashes. If they're not mashing, add in a throw or a shimmy to see how they react. Then doing that over and over

a response. That response could even just be more down backing. But to open a player up, you need to give them a reason to stop what they're doing.
So to practice offence, you need to understand and be confident with your options. Training mode is good for practicing frame traps, answers and timing

That's a pretty standard pressure flowchart. But it's also a good jumping. From there, how do you identify what your opponent is doing? how do you stop it or how do you get them to do what you want them to do (get hit). Adding in delays and uncertainty will make options ambigious and trigger...

go from there.
I haven't touched GBVS since vanilla so take the specifics with a grain of salt.
cl.L options
cl.L -> Tick throw - Beats blocking
cl.L -> delay cl.L - Beats mashing, losing to blocking
cl.L -> Shimmy -> cl.L - Beats hard throw techs
cl.L -> cl.H - Big CH fishing against mashing

There are a few ways to go about it.
Some players are entirely vibe based. Others prefer a more structured pressure with flowchart options. Some use a bit of both.
For example. What you can do is build up a list of options, understand their purpose, your opponents possible reactions / answers and...

A common problem I've seen in FGs and one I've run into myself.
While your pressure may be vibe based, is your pressure good? Do you understand your intentions? Is it tight? What options are you trying to beat?

Commissions! Mostly skeb style. I'm just happy to support the artist and love seeing my character in their styles. The creative freedom also helps to give me ideas to flesh out my OC with too! Win win
