Random, but I keep thinking about X-Men: Dark Phoenix (2019), an objectively bad movie that nevertheless managed to stick its landing by 1) giving Charles & Erik a redemptive HEA, and 2) showing us that Jean is still alive/out there somewhere.

Either one of those points would've fixed KPDH for me.

Pretty sure Lavacastle is referring to Jezzi, who piloted the ship that they escaped Ferrix on. She was a Daughter of Ferrix so maybe the assumption is that she returned there after helping the others escape? But yeah I also thought it was weird that we never saw or heard from her again :/

2) Bix didn’t “choose” to do anything because she’s a FICTIONAL CHARACTER written by a bunch of MEN
