That sounds like a good starting point! Doing something in a noisy space or where you can't leave when you get tired makes it way harder.

Depends, they do help reduce fatigue and pain, but if you didn't experience those, you may be fine with your normal hooks. Alternatively, you can make an ergonomic style grip to try it out before committing.

Language immersion in groups is really hard, but it's also the best way to get better at handling multiple speakers. If you're not confident in group settings, you might try getting some practice in a smaller event or group first.

This is ultimately a story of fate, justice, and belonging. Terrible things happen to good people, but they usually turn out alright in the end. As for bad people, well, they get what's coming to them, which gives it some hope that keeps it from being too grim.

This series explores an otherworldly location set near a much more mundane one. The creatures are fey with their own morals and the local humans have a separate group of detectives who deal with the odd occurrences that arise due to their proximity to the strange.

I enjoy Bishop's works, but I cannot give a blanket recommendation. I do hope she expands this world as there's some really interesting concepts and characters that don't get enough screentime IMHO.

Drawing/painting/doodling, walks/hikes (I ❤️ Pikmin bloom for motivation), embroidery/lace making/other ridiculous fiber arts... There are probably more.... Getting outside, even if it is after dark for a walk really helps me. But I enjoy winter even though i don't get enough vitamin d and get SAD.

Ouch. Seems like there's a new way for Legos to attack.

I really can't talk as I routinely pick a couple of teas to take with me and just bring the bag. ~It's fine~

There is only too little tea, rarely too much. Although you could maybe put it in smaller containers for travel purposes?

It's absolutely possible to do it completely by hand, although it's much more time consuming. I believe Bernadette Banner on YouTube has documented at least one dress she sewed by hand.

Try all sorts of tea, you might surprise yourself with what you like. Try the fancy looseleaf single origin, again it'll surprise you. Brew it however makes you happy (including Grandpa style), but it can be nice to sit down with it and enjoy slowly, as well.

Not impossible, but the result might be less nice than you hoped because that's how first projects go. I generally recommend something with fewer seams and techniques like a skirt or wrap skirt or pajama pants. Less fear of messing up and they require less fabric, as well.

It doesn't help that I can't always smell very well, so I might get more off the second ball I have of this on another day. As opposed to just getting indefinably pleasant.

They should absolutely read the book! We read it in highschool and it was one of the most widely enjoyed classics we read.

If you like the general vibe, but want something that's less lusty, I'd recommend the Etiquette and Espionage series. It's a true teen/ya from when that meant something.
The successor series about her daughter, custard protocol??, (although I've not finished it) is also less lusty iirc.

It's been a while since I read it, but while there are adult activities and the relationships are a plot focus, I think it would be enjoyable to someone not just reading it for the romance. It's a dystopian romance with as much emphasis on the dystopian plot as the romance.
