The user largely depicts the character in an abstract manner, but also portrait-like. He has a blank expression overall with eyes drooping black liquid, one set of white wispy transparent hands cupping either side of his face and another set of hands, red and black, inky in texture, seemingly keeping the other set of hands in place. There's a thin, white square framing closely to his face. James is depicted as an older white man with dirty blonde hair wearing a dark green jacket with a dark blue shirt underneath. The background consists of a plain beige rectangle with a paper-like texture placed upon it, with a sketchy red rectangle above. The fan artist placed his signature on the bottom left corner with the text "FAIRSMAZE'2024", painted stylistically metallic and with tiny white sparks. The artist titled this piece "there's a lull in my life", taken from the 1937 song written by Mack Gordon and Harry Revel for the film "Wake Up and Live". As an anecdote, I was listening to old jazz songs and came across Ella Fitzgerald's rendition of "There's A Lull In My Life" while drawing and the song stuck out to me and I believed the lyrics matched well to James Sunderland's character, hence the inclusion of the song.
