She/they.
Queer as hell. Mentally ill AF.
Sometimes I write things.
Probably a raccoon. Will definitely fight you in a parking lot.
The non-rail transit infrastructure is also king.

I lived in the “inaka” (countryside) in the Kanto region for three years. The town I worked in didn’t have a train station. But there were several bus lines that passed through that made commuting really convenient.

I’d argue yes!

Definitely agree with Grady Hendrix and Stephen Graham Jones. I’m also a fan of Rachel Harrison and Cassandra Khaw.

I love nibbling on those little bastards like I’m a field mouse in their den, developing a fat layer to keep me warm come winter.

Also worth noting that before the start of this week, I had seen precisely ZERO crucified Sonic the Hedgehog tattoos.

I agree with your basic premise.

Personally, I would prefer a vast network of social services that allow us to live independently outside of an institution. But I don’t think society is at a point where that’s feasible, even if funded by the ultra-wealthy. There’s too much rot to cut away.

Those “some” are fucking assholes, then.

Because he wasn’t mentally ill. He was a mentally sound individual who was well aware of the effect his words had on the world, and he was fine with it. He took advantage of his platform at every given opportunity.

This is why I refuse to be friends with conservatives. Why I refuse to give any of these people the benefit of the doubt.

I refuse to be complicit in my own annihilation, and in the annihilation of innocent people.

And I refuse to be made to feel guilty for celebrating the death of their ranks.

Congratulations, then. You’re the most enlightened and empathetic of us all.

I sincerely hope your smug self-satisfaction keeps you safe from the grim reality of what is to come.

He fomented political violence on the daily for over a decade, and even celebrated the deaths of those killed by it.

I’m allowed to laugh at the irony of him getting shot at yet another event where he works to foment political violence. That is deeply funny to me.

That’s what restorative justice is supposed to do, though. That’s what the criminal justice system should be doing.
