It's incredible that leaving the ECHR is even being pretended to be policy by anyone, let alone leaving Labour in a situation where they're committing to refugee policy that is incompatible with it.

You can't leave the ECHR if you're the UK without withdrawing from the Good Friday Agreement.

????????????????????????????????

Hello? Hello yes I'm convinced, this is a simulation, I would like to go open that door in the sky like in the Truman Show now, yes

This summarizes how stupid this refugee policy pitch is.

"I know British people do not want to close the doors" <- So who is this policy for? Aquaman?

"But" <- Why are you doing something you acknowledge your own now-increasingly-theoretical voter bloc hates?

This handy map demonstrates how Labour loses the next election and to who, in what seat, based on Labour deciding that they'll be saved by tactical voting. (It also demonstrates why the Greens have decided to Camden-ize)

Quite happy with this rough given I am still really rusty. Still not sure if I want to take on a comic project.

England at least has an above-average score. 272 is about the reading age of a 9 year old.

These are hard problems to POVERTY solve and you have to POVERTY really read between the lines to POVERTY understand why this is still a problem in the POVERTY 21st century

A #gamedev horror story

Discovering the FOSS "MIT licensed" game you've been contributing to has been unclearly licensed for six years, but your main repo advertises the project as MIT, and a bunch of forks have then re-re-licensed as AGPLv3

*as long as your deep thinking isn't too extraordinary

An example from Spirited Away. If a model is tuned to pass quick human scrutiny, it will generate some common shot and pose that humans have liked. Problems emerge in composition.

It is a complete mystery why things don't feel like they're improving over time

(the line is not a real inflation line - I just compared £8k in 2008 with 2025, where it is now just below £13k)
