The world feels like it’s dying. Now, this is the waiting—it’s not the end. Last year, we tapped trees in late February. Soon, the shift will come again. The land rests, but life is still there, tucked beneath the surface, waiting for its moment to return. #SeasonalLiving #SlowLiving #SelfReliance

The weight of the world has been overwhelming. Living in the present, spending time in nature, cooking the food I’ve grown, mending my clothes, and passing along what I don’t need. Maybe these small things matter. I try to hold my grief quietly, swallowing it down so it doesn’t spill out.

Though it may look pretty in photos, it’s been a tough year for us. Photos and social media can be so curated it looks like nothing is wrong/hard.
