After replaying TLoU2 twice since this, it's hilarious that Joel being the best part of season 2 is still such a devastating denunciation disguised as this heaping praise. Thankfully nobodys thought of this forsaken show since this episode

Intervention programs (mandated by the courts or as a condition of probation) are a way for the US justice system to launder abusers back into society & rely on volunteers with minimal training. Victim debriefs often don't even occur when your abuser is subjected to a criminal order of protection.

He's not even accurately describing the "protections" slaves received from their "benefactors" -- the "protections" given to them were the product of codifications for slavery that regulated slaves *as commercial objects*.

I mean, you seem to have an issue with the claim that "if someone votes for somone who is complicit in X then X is necessarily not a problem for them" -- AKA the definition of a "red line"
I'm not claiming ALL dems have standards, but you're making it sound like having values when voting is silly

Hilarious to see UKers argue over their inadequate representation and aging representatives that won't retire. The united states should have over double, 1,156 at least, representatives in the House. Seems like they're incapable of representing their constituents. The UK has more reps than the US.

Historically, not sure if you know much about the civil war, but there were neutral states, non-slave confederate/union slave states... 7 dem states left seceded and we STILL had centrists in congress 😂
