Kudos to our Senate Parliamentarian
Elizabeth MacDonough for such a thorough and accuate job ensuring the requirements for a reconciliation bill are met. Any provisions not meeting the requirements need to go through the normal legislative process. That is the way this short cut works folks!!!!

Horrific treatment of a sitting US Senator. We demand accouintability for how Senator Padilla was treated while he was doing his job. How dare they? Accountability NOW. Gifted. wapo.st/45EMvhV

Governing is not jut a power grab. It is hard work that requires education and experience. No place for pretenders.
"Across the government, the Trump administration is scrambling to rehire many employees dismissed by DOGE initiatives after wiping out entire offices, in some cases imperiling key services such as weather forecasting and the drug approval process..."

These Dem senators voted for cloture yesterday, setting the Senate up to pass the Crypto Bill today. They claim the bill is better than it was but now there is nothing stopping corruption using cryptocurrencly by Trump.
Here are the 16 Dems. I don't know what to tell you, folks. It's bad.
Alsobrooks
Blunt Rochester
Booker
Cortez Masto
Fetterman
Gallego
Gillibrand
Hassan
Heinrich
Lujan
Ossoff
Padilla
Rosen
Schiff
Slotkin
Warner
Unbelievable. With Dem support, the senate passes an industry-friendly crypto bill that does nothing about Trump's crypto corruption.

Ignore these Dems' speeches. Watch their votes. They're telling you they don't get it. And then they spam you to say Trump is bad so please donate more money.

To all those who recommended we lay (or kneel) down and play dead, get on board or be left behind.
The message is: crowd large.

Many politicians, administrators, and business leaders, in bowing to Trump, have drawn confidence and comfort from the perceived vibe shift.

Events like this puncture that delusion.
You can stop asking where the mass opposition is. It's everywhere.
People poured out to protest not only what Trump has done—and what they fear he will do next.

Sounds like the takedown is succeeding. A takedown is only fair based on the the fact that theTesla CEO is taking down our government and destroying many people's lives. And we are only 79 days into this administration.

"Contrary to dark right-wing fantasy, the protesters were there of their own volition — to defend American democracy out of an enduring sense of patriotism — and not in fact because they were being paid by liberal billionaire George Soros." That claim by Musk is often repeated by Trump supporters
