Not only does "failing forward" make for better gameplay on the sticks: it subconsciously reminds us of our own resilience.

To dust ourselves off and get back in the ring.

To see the stat tree flourishing from our intricate webs of scars and bruises.

My remaining shelf contains books that survived a harrowing tournament style-bracket for necessity(work/research), re-readability(pleasure), scarcity(that GDC book is how much), and sentimental value(we've been through so much together.)

Little do they know, we've got to do it all one more time. 🔥🪦
