I keep thinking about the parallels to events leading up to Kristallnacht. And how Trump & Miller are already using this shooting as a pretext to oppress more immigrants.

Well, only 2% of immigrants were turned back from Ellis Island, so we know this guy has trouble with fractions. Not a reason to take anything else he says seriously.

That is not correct. Retired members of Congress can buy insurance under the same program as other retired federal employees. They do not get free healthcare, either in office or after they leave office.

$500 would be a remarkably cheap hospital stay for someone with no insurance. Might be enough for a brief ER visit no tests. Maybe.

Fact that GOP lawmakers are pushing HSAs as a meaningful option for most people shows out of touch GOP is. It’s as if the only people these pols talk to are millionaires.

After recent travels in Europe, I agree with view that US is ahead of other countries on accessibility. US is as good as could be, but definitely better.

Didn't one of the members of his cabinet during his first term say Trump is "as dumb as a post" or some such. This certainly is evidence of that.
