Sorry missed the dates, Possibly Hamish the Hawk "used by the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club to keep pigeons away from their venue"? Dates are a little closer, and, well, it's an actual hawk.

Hamish Steele is British and wrote a comic on Egyptian deities several years ago. It's a stretch though.

Author wanted to use the Indy moniker to start a Ravenwood Adventures series that predated Indy. Always thought that might work.

I read a spec script years ago that started with old Indy reminiscing about his younger years with Abner and Marion Ravenwood that set up the rest of the movie as a flashback of the adventures of the three of them set in the 30s.

I think they are still in the "activity classified as process" loophole for anti-idling. Someone (I'm sorry, I don't know who) was able to get ice cream trucks in SI to turn off their music when stopped a few years ago, so maybe there is a way?
