In general, they’re doing a lot better than most mass transit in America as far as the branding game goes. Just got back from Japan a few weeks ago, and everybody there has merch if you want it. Except Ta-Q-Bin 😔

Occasionally, just the one line “ loving you up while I’m going down” loops in my brain because I had a very cool but very bad German teacher in high school who was obsessed with Aerosmith

Moderates stay losing. Like it’s their sustenance and they’ll turn to dust if they don’t take an L every 6 to 8 weeks.

NYT has been a collaborator in the negative for the entirety of its 174 years. There has never been an issue that their editorial board hasn’t at least started on the wrong side of. No more subbing to rags b/c “they have good reporters.” It sucks, but the good ones should leave if they want support

Also, this is part of the fun game: When something perceived as good happened in the past - never shut up about, but if something was bad - “the past is the past” so quiet down

That’s been the lesson from Republicans for over a decade now. It’s also one of the reasons Dems need to stop treating them as good-faith actors and start calling them out, either saying we’ll make deals when you start acting in good faith, or we need our wins upfront because you’re all liars.

Says there’s “credible intelligence” but doesn’t quote anyone 🙄 Also, if there are armed “spotters” why aren’t they claiming the bounties? This is eye-twitchingly dumb.

For the Shadow of the Colossus story, we interviewed 14 people including project leads Fumito Ueda and Kenji Kaido, hired Gravity Rush concept artist Takeshi Oga to illustrate the cover, and put together a 10,000-word story with help from @milkman.bsky.social @shmuplations.bsky.social and others.

In case anyone was wondering, as I was, there does not appear to be a complete list of the films that were found in the initial search; however, there are three standouts mentioned in a later article:

- Ghost in the Shell
- Rumble Fish
- Eraserhead
