I adore this movie, to the point that I get kinda sad watching it because it feels so much like part 2 of a trilogy that wasn't allowed to be finished. Still such a joy to watch in every regard.

I feel like Mass Effect Andromeda either did that or tricked me into believing it did that? I also remember Steambot Chronicles having a somewhat more rudimentary version since it was a PS2 game.

A game that played like Dark Souls or even a faster paced arpg with the option to try to talk down your enemies while dodging their God Killing Omnislash would be amazing. People already do hitless runs of DMC, imagine the boss reacting to that while you pick which response to use.

I'm reminded of how we got so overexposed to the 70s/80s slasher icons that there was a trend in the late 90s/early 2000s to essentially treat them as the heroes of the movies they were in.
