The support of illegal aliens is a fair question. It's basically a victimless crime, one many citizens benefit from economically, and there's worry of how mass deportation will affect citizens with blended status families. It also doesn't assume a support of those who perpetrate harmful crimes.

I’m always surprised when gitmo has supporters. It was created as a way to get around due process; I thought we as Americans had more respect for the law.

Propaganda specifically comes from the government to further political agendas. While the news might, by necessity, be selective in the information it shares, it IS sharing facts. To dismiss vetted news sources is to erode foundational aspects of our democracy

you’re right, that’s speculation. There is a Gaza in Mozambique, and Mozambique does receive contraceptive aid, so it’s assumed there was a misunderstanding about which Gaza was being referenced. The article clearly states the only Middle East contraceptive aid went to Jordan, about $46k worth.

I think your point was that trans women aren’t women but pseudo-women, is that accurate? By the same logic African Americans, or any sub group are only pseudo-Americans, which I think is inaccurate and problematic. The logical parallel would be that both trans and cis women are both simply “women”.

It reminds me of how we create sub groups for Americans based on ethnicity. We have African-American, Asian-American, etc, but don’t use a European-American designation even though it’d be more accurate to do since all of the above are simply “Americans”.
