Delivered a guest lecture on ‘Cyber Warfare and Information Warfare between India and Pakistan’ at COMSATS University’s Department of Humanities.

Presented my conference paper titled ‘Decolonizing Surveillance Infrastructures and Personal Data Protection in Pakistan’ at the University of Peshawar’s Dept of Criminology’s 1st International Conference on “Criminal Justice Reforms in Pakistan: Addressing Colonial Legacies and Modern Realities”.

Last month, I attended the 6th edition of the China School, themed “China's High-Tech Rise: Strategies, Players, and Perspectives.” The program was organized by the Research Center on Contemporary China, in collaboration with the Graduate School of Management at the Polytechnic University of Milan.

Participated in the Strategic Vision Institute’s In-House Discussion titled ‘Digital Escalation: Cyber and EW Capabilities and the Future of Deterrence in South Asia’. I talked about the convergence of cyber and electronic warfare threats.

• The trend of anti-China terrorist attacks is likely to continue evolving in the future.
• Deploying Chinese security personnel in Pakistan would be counterproductive.
• Chinese diplomatic missions need to extensively engage in developing people-to-people connections.

On May 27, I delivered a talk titled ‘Mapping Online and Offline Threats to CPEC – Policy Options for China’ at the Academy of Global Governance and Area Studies, Sichuan Normal University, as part of the 11th International Youth Academic Salon.
