I don't remember anyone talking about a "new golden age". Groupe TVA received $1.5 million from Google's Online News Act funding, but its revenues are down $6.2 million over the past year.

The unexpected race on the list is St-Léonard-Ouest, which Ensemble lost by 300 votes (with 536 ballots rejected) to Mauro Barone, the only member of the Équipe St-Léonard party to win an election. Overturning this result would give Ensemble unanimous control of the St-Léonard borough council.
