The Manchester International Festival MIF25 was a whole vibe. Seeing our work at large scale all over the city was a definite highlight of our world premier, earlier this year in July.

FAFSWAG is a Queer art collective from south Auckland. Responding to the lack of representation within the creative industries. The collective has come to redefine what it means to occupy a fluid sexuality & gender, a multi-cultural identity and a growing and global interdisciplinary practice.

Receiving our arts laureates award in 2020 during a fucking global pandemic. NZ boarders were still closed. We were only allowed to gather in groups of 50 - 100. The world was shut down because millions of people died. And the art world gave us an award. 5years and we still don't know what it means.

This beautiful exhibition is currently on at the East Hawai'i Cultural Centre entitled: Em-bodied Body Politics featuring the incomparable Latai!! As well as other incredible global artists. I can't wait for our group show next, with Dan Taulepapa McMillan. The Whanua Wall for our cuzies in Hawai'i
