Tinderbox was fascinating to illustrate since flint and fire steel used to look very different in medieval times, but I opted for modern version for clarity.

This year I vow to do my best to finally move out from sites like Instagram and TikTok that have mainly become sites to spread propaganda. I have never had big following anywhere, so it is not like the change is dramatic, but it still stings to have to start from scrap over and over again...

Recently I have been painting so much from reference and learning lighting and shading portraits and made a portrait in 2h with no reference at all.
It does seem like some lessons do sink in when you take your time to learn them.
