Today's morning #coffeewatch was #nightbeforechristmasamousetale and I am genuinely not sure why I watched this. The animation was rough, the story was weak, and overall it was not enjoyable...even for a kids cartoon. But hey, the mice were cute!

One of my birthday gifts was my partner installing a sturdier clothing rod in my closet so that my clothes stop attacking me. I haven't been able to dress up as much lately due to the broken elbow but I can still appreciate my wardrobe!

Last night's film was the live action #theflinstones movie! The set design and costuming in this always amazes me! They really went all in and committed to the bit! Where the script fails, the passion of bringing the world to life really picks up the pieces!

It's day one of #31daysofHalloween and I watched #TheFunhouse This was such a cheesy and delightful slasher flick full of references to the horror genre and its various tropes. The carnival location was such a colorful and whimsical setting!

I watched the Soviet silent film #thegirlwiththehatbox and I was amazed with how many stereotypical 'romcom' tropes fit! It still had a lot of social and political commentary woven in but with meet cutes and shenanigans.

Last night I watched #aelitaqueenofmars which is considered the first Soviet SciFi film. It was really interesting with its combination of the 'sexy space woman' trope and Soviet revolution. I recommend checking it out!
