yes exactly!! in dnd, the eladrin race changes appearance to different seasons, but i adjusted the lore a little so they naturally change based on the climate they're in ☺️

SO THEY were raised in a cult that wanted the scary ocean god to be brought back 😬 and the cult also taught them to shun the other gods. they'd been out of the cult for a few years at that point but they still had reservations about the rest of the gods 😔
