There is of course a way to fit magic into physics. There is *a lot* that can be done by manipulating probabilities, and physics is all about statistics. Magic does not have to do the impossible, it simply has to make the improbable, probable.

I do like the DnD as well ^^ though I suspect Pokémon was a greater influence for me.
I can't deny Disney's influence though. Donald Duck was a particular early-childhood influence that likely ingrained some roots in me.

I remember when, as a young Faerie Dragon, I dabbled in fel magic. My elders thought it should be left alone to fester. I thought I could learn and expose it as a threat. None of us were completely correct, with disastrous results.
