Project today: Vintage BaB skirt from eBay was too big for Ms Bun (felt like the elastic on it was all stretched out), so I went to Michael's and got materials to make a belt for her.

It's in my hands now, and I can tell you...sod all, lol. Nothing is obviously different from a production P2K BL2 aside from the shell being this slightly frosted clear material. The box contains no paperwork and is pretty naked aside from one handwritten letter "C".

Alright model train Bsky, help a girl out. I've just bought a mystery - a P2K BL2, which would be an unremarkable purchase except for the fact that the shell on this one is *clear*. AFAIK the undec ones were normally black (early) or gray (late).

Picked up this silly little engine tonight. No motor, but brass and free from binding. Other than getting it going, not sure what I wanna do with it - would think about detailing, but the lettering seems hand painted(!) so I'd feel bad about doing a repaint.

Any traction modelers recognize what I bought? I know that the boxes are wrong, the "RPO" is actually the CNS car, but the other one is...maybe Pacific Electric? Genuinely don't know. Seems like it might be single ended, except it also has windows on the back end?

So as it turns out, "huh, my alternator belt still feels loose even after adjusting it all the way tight" is probably a sign that you should replace the belt, lest it decide to depart the car and leave you stranded for the second time in as many weeks, even if it means taking the bumper off. 😅

Here's my two who are my main "littlespace" plushies: Ms Bun (on the left), who's my oldest Build-a-Bear from when I was a child, and Dark Chocolate (on the right) who I got because she reminded me of @the.choco.one 🤭

Inspired by it being TDoV, a little behind-the-scenes from my archives. At one time, I had the idea of Syrah transitioning (her name would've been Rosé). This was a serious enough concept that I ended up getting some art, but Syrah eventually settled into nonbinary he/they. Maybe still an AU though.

Neat little pickup today. Not so much because of the car itself (new stock, w/e), but because I'm visiting Richmond, from the vicinity of DC, and bought it at a hobby shop (Tiny Tim's) within just a few steps of the old RF&P tracks.
