New Years Resolution: Avoid Meta(services) as much as humanly possible. Use the block button liberally on TikTok. I don't think 'echochamber' is a dirty word anymore, not when most of the global social media all but pledged allegiance to Trump. It is not a badge of honor to stay on the Bad Places.

Just 40 more minutes and then it’s happy #WindandTruth release day for my fellow Europeans! Sadly, I must wait two more days, as a little birdie told me Sinterklaas is currently queueing for the release and is visiting us on Sunday. He better deliver or the old man will catch these hands.

So how do we deal with the balance of interacting in a work-related sphere & (not) publicizing your employer? Maybe it’s the chronically online millennial in me that is naturally suspicious of everyone 👀 (not that this info isn’t findable on Google). Why do/don’t you show your employer on Bsky?

Laundry is done! Here’s a tip I once heard: don’t spend too much time on planning your to-do lists. It can actually trick your brain in giving off dopamine for *making the list* instead of *doing the task*. This is probably why I get stuck in limbo after planning out my day.

As I am getting acclimated: what’s the best way to filter out bot/grifter content sharing Boomer-esque generated AI images with “god bless” captions? Feels like Facebook dead internet theory. Is there a “not interested” btn I’ve not yet spotted, or do I just scroll past?
