Most machines are just streamlined versions of exercises you can do with dumbbells/barbells anyway, so once you work up the confidence to use them, you’ll have the movements down!

There’s a video trend for what’s been dubbed the “shy girl workout” (gendered only in name, anyone can do this) that mostly focuses on getting a full body workout with dumbbells in the same spot of the gym without having to walk anywhere or use any machines. Could be a great place to start!
