I mean dw I’m doing my part in protesting but this was a post asking for advice on how to address alcoholism in a loved one 😭

I’ve tried asking them to go to AA meetings, and have even tried to start attending meetings in my town in solidarity if they’ll attend them in their town but it’s not been receipted well.

Begging and asking them isn’t working. I’m desperate to help this person but I am not equipped with a way to help and they will not listen to me. Please if anyone has any advice I will take anything.

Does anyone have advice for ways to help support or get support or help of some kind for loved ones who live long distance?

I am in no position to move closer to this person to help/encourage them to stop drinking but I am worried out of my mind and am hoping someone has…literally any advice.

My biggest thought is I was thinking I want to make something with edible glitter and make it…some sort of spooooky 🧙 potion(?).

Still leaning towards fall flavors but I want this drink to be fruity! (Again, Cranberry? Blackberry? Blue(boo👻)berry??) Pomegranate? Pear? …Plum?? Idk)

I’m much more experienced with fruity cocktails (bc that’s what I like & that’s the only type of drinks they sold at the bar I worked) so I’m just kind of stumped 😭
