Yea that makes sense. I guess I'm kinda expecting it to have some bumps and bad apples along the way but hopefully my read on people is good enough to catch some of it. Definitely gonna look for the most helpful seeming people first though!

That definitely sounds good, I'm all for everyone supporting eachother, particularly with how bad things can be where I live. We gotta escape the stupid individualism thing

Yea that makes sense, ive pretty much done that actually, I just need to focus more on building a community rather than just getting advice I think

I am in a major city atleast, so that helps, I guess I'll start with major conventions and see if I can get info from there. Starting my own would be awesome for later for sure, people could always use a resource like that!

I'll definitely keep an eye out for those, I sadly haven't seen a ton of artist events in my country but maybe I'm not looking hard enough

Ahh ok yea, I will definitely try that, I'd suppose that making connections with other artists irl at like conventions etc might be a good way to do it? I'm kinda figuring out what fields I'd like to be in but that can't hurt

Ah ok gotcha, makes sense. My issue I guess is that I need to build a bit of a base for my art and stuff and I'm not really sure where to do that? Bsky seems way more chill than most but idk if I can get anywhere like this
