The last pic of the Dehawk is the side view from the combat animation. You can see the Spartan body and color, if you squint you can see the Tomahawk cockpit, and the overhead cannons that match the Tomahawk. A very cool, and rare, destroid.

Here is the tile of the Dehawk destroid. It’s a little pixel-ly but you can see the green Spartan body and two shoulder mounted cannons.

Here is the mecha selection screen when the pilot Grey reaches level 8. On the left is the Dehawk. It carries beam cannons and grenades, with a body like the Spartan and, if you squint, a Tomahawk cockpit.

Another pilot in game, Guy, can also select the Dehawk.

Macross deep cut: the Dehawk!

Unique to Eternal Love Song, Grey & Guy can pick it at level 8 instead of the Attack Valkyrie.

No official line art exists, but in-game it looks like a Spartan body with a Tomahawk cockpit.

Here’s a fan recreation I found years ago!

Macross 2 has its story issues, but I always liked this scene with the UN Spacy Zentradi fleet opening up on the Marduk fleet. The music really fits.

Someone did a mashup of the original Glaug and the EXA version. A great way to see the similarities and differences. The original Glaug was done by artist Kazutaka Miyatake and the newer design looks like his work as well.

From the Macross Eternal Love Song manual: EXA Glaug - “the final mass-production type of the Glaug.”
Makes me wonder if the factory satellite that produced the original Glaug was later upgraded to build the EXA variant, its last iteration.

Here’s the Exa Glaug line art from the Macross 2036 game CD insert.
The captions read:
-“Stage and Boss Introduction”
-“Stage 1: Exa Glaug”
-“Zentradi Shell” (likely meaning the pod or power armor)

The Exa-Glaug is the first boss in the side-scrolling shooter Macross 2036. Maria Jinas faces this Zentradi mecha during a training mission in the ruins of Earth. Like the classic Glaug pod, but sleeker, ‘Exa’ likely marks it as an upgraded model
