I would say his DEI argument was effective. Not hiring based on color of your skin, gender or sexual orientation. But on qualifications, skills, aptitude. DEI would be like allowing a 60 year old join the military. He may have the heart and passion, but he doesn’t have the physical ability .

Katie Johnson, since you mention her, filed litigation in 2016. Then in late 2016 she dropped the lawsuit. No one knows why and she hasn’t said anything to my knowledge. So all the clip is that you posted is a story in The Guardian.
