Last week a package was delivered while we were out, so when we got home, I grabbed it to bring it inside. I noticed it said, Jazwares on the outside of the box. I was like, Aww you got me a Squishmallow! David was so annoyed the brand was on the outside of the box lol!

It happened again today lol!

We went to a Christmas Pub Crawl. There were six participating businesses with different cocktails. There are only five days left of Christmas and I’m trying to fit in as many Christmas activities I can. I’ve already done a lot, but I want to do more!

We went and cut our Christmas tree down. It’s a tradition that we’ve been doing since 2014

After paying for it, we realized someone took our tree by mistake. Each tree had a code that matched the ticket we were given. They left & the workers couldn’t find them, so we had to cut down another tree 😭

I was reading reviews for a cookbook… someone went on this big rant saying the recipes were too spicy, took too much time, and you have to buy some new and unusual spices that you probably haven’t heard of, like Sumac

LOL what? Sumac? You can find that at most grocery stores

Tonight’s dinner: Garlicky Spinach and Chickpea Soup with Lemon and Pecorino Romano

It has flavors from North Africa such as coriander and cumin and a little bit of Italian style with extra-virgin olive oil (the good stuff) and a grated Pecorino Romano cheese.

I was in the middle of decorating my food Christmas tree and I dropped my glass carrot ornament. It shattered into a million pieces. I bought it last year because of my surgery. After surgery, I was high from the meds and thought the carrots from the hospital were so good lol 😭🤣🥕

It was so cold today and even snowed, so I wore my 2020 Dodgers World Series jacket to stay warm. Excuse the mess lol, we are still decorating for Christmas!!
