I am visiting my hometown for a funeral and I walked into my sister's office and she said "what are you wearing?! You look like a biker," which is the nicest compliment I've gotten since my other sister told me my haircut was giving David Bowie two years ago 😎🥰

Today was a LOT y'all. I woke up to news about the SCOTUS decision and that around the corner from me 6 neighbors had been kidnapped by ICE. Plus I'm dealing with a personal loss that's very hard. But i showed up for my community & they showed up for me. I am so grateful and proud.

Now I'm curious if tomorrow will have a huge uptick in Garfield references! (I have yet to come across more than one in a day, unless we count these 3 images as separent but I would argue since it's the same conversation it should only count as 1 reference.

The problem is today I came across this, and I can't decide if it counts as a Garfield reference. It is obviously referencing the actor, so no, right? But then closetedguyy replies "can you not just say Garfield please" which obviously IS invoking the cartoon cat (and also making me laugh a lot).

I met a new person & we became friends quickly. then I introduced her to my Bestie & she said "you didn't warn me Bestie was so gorgeous...I get shy around beautiful people" and Imma be honest I got a little in my feels about it bc I didn't create that issue lol. Then I remembered this pic & fair
