The oil and agribusiness lobbies are extremely powerful. Denial and doubt are their levers. I'm not advocating a return to the ox and the plough, but solutions do exist. Business reasons dictate their choices, and we are dependent on these decisions.

As an artist of Swiss nationality, the son of 3rd-generation immigrants, I feel fortunate to live in one of the richest countries in the world, and I believe that we have a responsibility to show that it is possible to commit ourselves to a world of solidarity and harmony between humans and nature.

Day 25, I think an artist has to be committed, and right now I admit that my vision of the future is rather pessimistic. Is provocation a good way of engaging in dialogue? Some people have warned me to tone down my criticism because it's too fundamentalist for their taste.
