I put off playing Future Redeemed for an embarrassing amount of time, clinging to the delusion Nintendo would eventually bless us with a physical release... but alas, digital will have to do.

I went and did that silly ‘find your colour’ test and, shockingly, most of it is spot-on. Apparently I’m serene, which is hilarious because I operate at a constant Charlie Brown level of "my anxieties have anxieties"... 🙃

Totally spaced on sharing this. Huge shoutout to @hananomaude.bsky.social and @andresplays.bsky.social for recommending the 8Bitdo. Finding it better and snappier than Nintendo's pro controller, especially in fast-paced games like Splatoon 3 and Mario Kart!

It was either beat Octopath Traveler 0 or let the soppy OST beat me!
I'd typically finish a JRPG of this calibre in under two weeks, but December was rather... grim. Either way, we got there in the end. 😅
Arguably the weakest of the Octos, and somehow still an effortless 10/10!

Had a wonderfully quiet crimbo this year... the kind where the biggest event of the day was deciding which throw to cosy up under. I'm truly grateful for the calm, and the chance to just be without the chaos beyond the walls. #introvert #mentalhealth
