Caroline Gilbert's research (BIOADAPT team) focuses on the physiological and behavioral responses of animals to environmental stress, whether wild (penguins, elephant seals) or domestic (dogs, cats).

Les recherches de Caroline Gilbert (équipe BIOADAPT) portent sur les réponses physiologiques et comportementales des animaux face aux contraintes environnementales, qu’il s’agisse d’animaux sauvages (manchots, éléphants de mer) ou de compagnie (chiens, chats).

Emmanuelle Pouydebat (FUNEVOL team) is passionate about the evolution of animal behavior (use of tools, solving problems linked to their emotions, etc.), which she approaches in an interdisciplinary and sometimes applied way (bio-inspiration, animal welfare).

And “last but not least” to round off the week, MECADEV presents its latest recruit, Kaina Privet (ECOTROP team), whose research focuses on the factors behind the taxonomic, functional and phylogenetic diversity of spiders in tropical, island and volcanic environments.
